For collision shops

Spend the afternoon on the car, not the paperwork.

When the estimate of record comes back short, finding what changed means reading two estimates side by side. When a customer asks what they are paying for, the estimate is no help. RO Defender does both documents for you.

Where it saves you time

The estimate of record came back lower
Upload your preliminary and the carrier's estimate. Estimate Reconciliation lists every line they reduced, repriced, re-operated or dropped, and totals the gap by category — the starting point for a supplement conversation.
A short pay you need to document
Keep the reconciliation in the file: every difference, both line numbers, and the gap before deductible. Anyone picking the file up later can see what was disputed without re-reading two estimates.
A customer asks what they are paying for
The Repair Cost Statement restates your estimate as labor by trade, parts and materials in plain sections, and the scope of work — adding up to your estimate to the cent, with signature lines at the end.
Parts the carrier questions
One-time-use parts are grouped with the reason they cannot be reused, and you can write the OEM procedure you are relying on under each.

Common questions

Does it work with CCC ONE and Mitchell?

Yes — the PDFs both systems print, including supplements. CCC ONE's BMS XML export works too.

Does it submit anything to the carrier?

No. It reads the estimates you upload and gives you PDFs. What you send, and to whom, stays your decision.

Can my whole team use it?

Each account is one login today. Talk to us through the demo form if you need several.

What does it cost?

Each tool is $29 a month, or $49 a month for both. A single document is $19, with no subscription.
